Volunteer
To fulfill our mission, The Boys & Girls Club of Carbon
County must attract and retain a corps of
caring and dedicated volunteers from varied backgrounds and
interests to supplement the work of our professional staff. We
need volunteers to assist in the following areas:

Power Hour:
Tutors and instructional assistants

SMART Moves:
Guest speakers

CYAC:
Coaches, referees, equipment managers

Youth
Council: Advisors

Torch Club:
Staff assistant

Camps:
Mini Camp Leaders

After School
Programs: Artists, Musicians, Biologists, Crafters,
Chefs, Athletes, etc

Programs: Club patrol, snack delivery

Evening
Programs: Chaperones

Post
Secondary Education Program: Mentors, Guest speakers

Jobs Ready
Program: Events planners, Mock interviewer, Counselor

Events planners, event committee members

Administrative Technology: Computer hardware and software
experts
Come in and share your talents and skills with our youth. If
you have a skill or service you wish to offer to the Club, but
it is not listed above, please stop by and talk with us about
it. Chances are we would jump at the opportunity you present.
Please consider volunteering one to ten hours per week at the
Club. You can stop by the Club
to discuss your interests with Jody Ackerman, Executive Director,

Donate
At the Boys & Girls Club, we pledge to use your investment
wisely, putting all funds possible directly toward youth
development programs. Currently, more than 85% of our funding
goes into programming. The Boys & Girls Club of Carbon County is a
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all contributions are tax
deductible.
It is the policy of Boys & Girls Club of Carbon County to maintain the highest level of
confidentiality with respect to donor information. We will not
share donor names, addresses, or fund-related financial
information with any individual or organization outside of the
Boys & Girls Club Organization without expressed written
permission from donors.
From time to time, donor names may be listed in annual
publications, and other forms of media. If you choose not to be
recognized as a donor, please let us know when you make your
donation that you would like to remain anonymous.
