Participate in the SMART Girls & Passport to Manhood Programs!

In response to the diverse and changing needs of the young people it serves, the Boys & Girls Club of Carbon County is introducing two award-winning & empowerment programs: SMART Girls & Passport to Manhood.

Developed by the Boys & Girls Club of America, SMART Girls (Skills, Mastery, and Resistance Training) and Passport to Manhood are national prevention programs that address the problems of alcohol and other drug use and teen pregnancy. The programs will be delivered through fun, interactive daily activities and discussions.

Due to the sensitive nature of the curriculum, permission slips will be required for all participants.

We need more space!

We are currently applying for grant funds to expand and remodel the Clubhouse. These grant funds will help us to:
•    Provide more room and programming space for members—we have tripled our membership to 300 youth in the past 18 months.
•    Help us add a Recreation area to the Club.
•    Create a Teen Center in the Club.
•    For more information see our Facilities Improvement Brochure.

If you want to share ideas with us and comment on this project, please contact Jody Ackerman at 406-446-2582
